In 2002 I graduated from Wyoming Valley West High School in Plymouth, PA in academics. I excelled in the arts, English an and Foreign Languages classes.

After high school I went into the Army Reserves as a 91E (Dental Assistant) until 2005. There I received an award for art after I created the first framed picture to be shown on base. I also received 2 awards for marching with the company flag.
A few months after the military I attended Luzerne County Community College for 1 year to get started on the path to learning. I studied General Education with a few art classes. I left with a 3.5.

After the year at LCCC, I wanted to attend a bigger university. I went to Penn State University Main Campus and took the Art Program for Fine Art they offered. After 2 semesters and being told I couldn't take any art classes until after 2 years, I decided PSU wasn't the college for me since they didn't offer enough art.

And this is where I found my current school. The Academy of Art University. A school where art classes are taken all year round even from the start. I'm currently in my second semester and love every minute of it. I learned so much last semester with Adobe Illustrator I never knew. I have a 4.0 so far and wished I came here earlier.
